We carry a maximum of 12 passengers so we can offer a more intimate manta ray snorkel experience than the larger "cattle boats" in Kona.

In addition to delivering a more private experience, our small group size allows for a better manta ray show. Your swim guide will tow your party to the most active areas of the snorkel site, as you hold onto a light board and enjoy the show. Larger groups on bigger boats are often required to stay next to the boat, and can't chase the manta ray action as we do. By locating the most active areas of the snorkel site, you'll have a higher chance of seeing more manta rays.

If you book all 12 seats on any trip, you will have your own private charter.

This review is for the night Manta experience. Our crew was Adam, Jacob, and Kalie. Before booking it's important to understand that you'll be on a speed boat for about 30 minutes. Then you will jump off the side of the boat into the ocean at night. There isn't much swimming required and the wetsuits and ankle floats they give you will add buoyancy but I can't recommend this experience if you can't swim, which was the case with one of our participants. This was the thing I was most looking forward to on our trip and didn't disappoint. Our boat had 12 guests which meant everyone got in the water for 30ish minutes. It was pretty chilly so I wasn't yearning for more. We saw tons of mantas. A very unique experience.

Had an amazing time seeing the beautiful Manta Rays! Our guide and captin (Jake and Jeff) were amazing. They were extremely knowledgeable and made you feel like a friend. Highly recommend this great adventure!

This was such an amazing experience getting up close with the manta rays. Erika was really knowledgeable about the manta rays, including the specifics of local ones, whilst we watched them cruise around us. Adam and the crew ensured our safety whilst on board the vessel, with good tunes playing as we cruised out to snorkel location Couldn't recommend this enough!
