We travelled to the Big Island specifically to snorkel with the manta rays and they did not disappoint. They were out in force and it was an amazing experience. The crew were great - knowledgable and friendly. Do have dinner before you go - they only provided a very small snack. The main downside to our experience ... the water was choppy and the boat is small, so one member of our party - and about four people on the boat - got extremely sea sick. This tour takes you out extra early so they can get the best spot, which is great if you have calm seas. Nearly three hours of floating in one spot is tough on the tummy, even with Dramamine. As long as you have a steel stomach - this is the tour for you!

We had a great time. Capt. Bill, Shawna and the rest of the crew were wonderful. Saw at least six rays including 3 that kept barrel rolling under our board. Highly recommend!!

Highly recommend this excursion if you have a love for the creatures of the ocean. The crew was very well organized and professional. They truly cared about safety of all passengers as well as the Manta Ray's. We had no problems and the captain informed us of clear instructions regarding the do's and don'ts while on his boat and what to expect with the Manta Rays. AWESOME experience!
