Everything was great, starting with the scenic drive, then the glacier hike and lunch. We even saw mama moose with a baby from the restaurant after the hike. Highly recommend the company! As someone who has never been to Alaska before I felt taken care of and well guided from the minute I booked the tour. They answered all my texts and calls, of which there were plenty.

That is so cool you were able to see a Moose and calf en route to the Matanuska Glacier! We love the drive to the glacier, so much to see and take in. How amazing! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of booking with our team and joining our Matanuska Glacier Tour! Cheers!

Not sure if our tour was the summer or winter one, since we took it in September. Wife says it was the highlight of our two weeks in Alaska. It was simply amazing. Our guides, Matt and Bill were knowledgable and helpful. You get to walk on, touch and taste the glacier. If you take it, you will know what I mean. The included lunch was at a lovely, little local restaurant. Not recommended for anyone with limited mobility, but guides were there to "lend a hand" when senior citizen like us need it. Very safety minded.

Hello! Thank you so much for the great feedback. I will definitely pass it along to Matt and Bill. They are rock stars at the glacier! Safety is our #1 priority so it is always really nice to hear feedback pointing their attention to safety out. We hope you can come back and adventure with us another time! Perhaps some northern lights in March? Kind regards, Stephen S GM - Greatland Adventures

Our Matanuska Glacier Hike was fun. It was a long drive, but it was well worth the trip. We hiked around the glacier and got some great pictures learning about what it felt like to hike on ice. Our guide, Matt was a nice young man , but was not as forthcoming with information about the history and geography as we had hoped. In fact, much of what he talked about was his friends and his band in which he plays guitar. Either way, it was worth the trip and Greatland Adventures was easy to work with. We have always tried to work directly with the actual Tour Operator instead of an intermediate booking agency, simply to have a direct connection to those that have the actual experience with a trip. Dillion and Stephen were particularly helpful in answering questions we had before the trip. We would recommend this trip as well as Greatland Adventures to friends.

Hello Dale, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave some feedback for us! It sounds like you had a great day overall, which is our goal! In addition to passing along all the kind words, I will definitely have a content review with our glacier team. It's always nice to have a refresher with everyone once in a while. As a small "family" run operation we greatly appreciate your direct booking business! It's always a better experience for guests and operators to have a direct connection. Thanks again, and we hope to adventure with you in the future! Stephen S. GM - Greatland Adventures
