Getting to the parasailing site was a bit of a wait but the staffs were very friendly and accommodating. It was our first time parasailing and we’re a bit nervous but it was actually a peaceful and relaxing experience. We’ll definitely do it again next time we’re in Hawaii!

This excursion was listed as a 1-hour parasailing trip, and cost almost $200, which was fine until we arrived on the boat and was told that the amount of time actually parasailing was only 6-8 minutes. The staff in the boats were super friendly and we really liked them, so I know it’s not their fault. The building where you meet up for the excursion (H2O Water Sports) was old, run down, and smelled like greasy Chinese food. It was a bit unorganized and had a lot of people waiting around. No one really answered any questions, we were all left to ask each other. Bottom line is that you pay a lot of money for very little time up in the air.

We are located in Mauanalua Bay with outstanding views of Diamond Head and Koko Head. Your experience starts with these boat rides. The views of the Hawaii Coast line are unlike anything you may have seen. You are on the boat for about 45 minutes and fly 6-8 minutes in the air.

Parasailing was great but short. They say it’s 8 to 10 minutes but recorded on my GoPro from start to finish only 5 min. The whole process takes hours. You get on a pontoon and they transfer you onto a barge in the ocean where you sit you wait and wait then load you on a different boat to bring you out to parasailing. Our pick up time was 1:30 we didn’t get back to shore until 4:45. A lot of wasted time for a 5 minutes adventure. Would not do it again.

Mahalo for spending vacation time with us. We do use a platform anchored in a beautiful bay in between Koko Head and Diamond Head. Those views are spectacular.
