We were excited for this opportunity to tour areas that are not accessible to the general public and to have it hosted by a Navajo guide but the tour, the area and our guide, Duffy exceeded our expectations. About 15 min into the tour, my husband and I looked at each other with the same look - as if to say, this was totally worth it and more than we expected. Duffy is a historian, philosopher, ambassador and overall great soul. He is an incredible teacher. We learned so much about not only Monument Valley but also the Navajo culture. He was also charming and funny and knew how to engage the group. We came back from our tour feeling like we had a transformational experience. This area's beauty is underrated and what made it even more memorable was the spirituality you felt being a part of it with our host. It felt magical from beginning to end. Thank you for the very special memory!

This was a very exceptional tour with Toney Begay as our guide. He was very thorough sharing historical facts, interesting little known things and some personal stories. He has a sense of humor and invited questions. He even sang 2 songs while playing a drum. He would get out of the vehicle and tell us about the monuments we were seeing. He was a very amazing tour guide with many years experience. Would recommend this tour to anyone!
