  • Audio guides are available in French, Spanish, German, Italian, Mandarin Chinese, and Japanese. Specify language at time of booking under special requirements.
  • California law requires tour guests to bring a car safety seat for all children under 8 years and under 4' 9" (1.4 meters) in height. Any guest that does not provide their child's safety seat at the time of the tour and does not inform the tour operator in advance may not be allowed to board the tour and will not be subject to refund.

Our tour was supposed To sart Wilhelmina a pick-up at 0730. Was postponed to 0930. The bus was late, could’nt find our hotel,had to run after it to tape it. Half a hour late. Se were supposed to stay 2 hours un the Park. Arrived at 1130, having to pay to enter the park (not mentioned),the driver Saïd that we had to be back in the bus for 1300. The longuest stay in the park they advertised! Being rushed to Sausalito for a quick lunch. That’s where i decided to quit the tour and stayed in Sausalito on my on. Very deceitful tour.

We were being rushed in the morning tour of Muir Woods with stop in Sausalito. Pick up time was pushed back 2h from 7:30am to 9:30am. We were assured that the length of time at Muir Woods will not be shortened. However we were rushed at Muir Woods because a few people (no fault of theirs) in our tour were scheduled to take a city tour in the afternoon and our guide had to drop them off in the city by 2:30pm to meet with the bus to start their city tour. Our time at Sausalito was rushed too. Extranomical is spreading its staff thin ... too many tours with insufficient vehicles and staff.

I did the Muir Wood Expedition Tour last week and it was amazing. Highly recommend the morning tour. We arrived and were literally the only group in the park. We had plenty of time. I did the 2 mile walk through the woods and was by myself the entire time - rarely seeing anyone else. It was amazing. I choose to stay in Sausalito and take the ferry back. This was a great tour and I highly recommend.
