This is NOT a museum. This is a glorified Instagram photo opp. We bought tickets for 5:30, but had to wait in line to enter and thus missed the last ice cream lab, so we were out $50. The ice cream was mediocre and the rooms were crowded with children on a sugar high. The worst date my partner and I have ever been on.

This is billed as an "experience" and it is. Just not a pleasant one. If you visit here be sure to bring earplugs. Seriously, have hearing protection with you. The combination of small crowded rooms and lots of loud hyperactive kids is truly deafening. A member of our group who doesn't do well in tight, noisy crowded spaces was on the verge of a panic attack and had to leave the building. The free ice cream isn't that great and the "museum" part of the tour consists of lighted sign boards in each room with a few paragraphs each. The sundae bar is overpriced ($16 for a milkshake?) although I'm sure there are many adults who take advantage of the cocktail offerings after surviving the tour. The signature element of this place - the much-touted sprinkle pool - is barely shin deep for adults and filled with squirming kids. They'll probably love this but it's an expensive sugar-fueled nightmare for adults. Skip the nearly $50 admission and head to your favorite ice cream shop instead.

We walked in to a tiny room with our timed group. We were given a quick rundown of what to expect. We walked into a room where we made our fake ice cream name, then through a room that looked like a subway car, to a bar with super overpriced drinks. We were told this was a good chance to go to the bathroom so we did. From there it was waiting in line in room after room of nothing while waiting to try different flavored ice cream. There is no rhyme or reason, there is nothing to learn, hardly anything to see. The final room is a “sprinkle pool” which is just a big ball pit. Then it’s through a tiny gift shop and you’re done. Not sure if kids would even enjoy it due to the amount of time standing around. Waste of time, waste of money, the ice cream was good.
