The Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island Ferry operates from 9:00am to 3:00pm with regular departures from Battery Park. You will need to redeem your ticket voucher with a Big Bus Tours staff member before heading to the ferry terminal
This ticket includes a ferry journey to both Liberty Island and Ellis Island, but not interior monument or museum access.
Empire State Building visits must pre-book a time and date through the Big Bus Booking Management link (provided on your voucher), or with our staff at Stop #1

We had expected wait times which were not too bad, very busy so no seats upstairs, no a/c downstairs, too hot and very uncomfortable in July. Cannot hear guide as headsets didnt work. When we eventually got a seat upstairs, shouldn't have bothered, sittingv in NYC traffic jam with sun blazing.= torture. If you do decide to do this in middle of summer, wear a hat !

Good Afternoon deborahgK3404ZW, Although, we monitor demand and prepare for busier times by increasing our bus fleet, there are events out of our control. We can not force any passenger to hop-off which can cause limited seating and an increase in delay. Please know our buses are equipped with A/C, we monitor these issues and have them corrected immediately. Please provide bus numbers, to [email protected] so we may remove them from rotation and report it to our mechanics. While New York traffic is unpredictable, we do our very best to still provide our passengers an opportunity to explore. We hope this experience doesn't deter you from touring with us in the future. Recently visited NYC and got Big Bus Tour experience. I would like to highlight our tour guide Jack from Brooklyn for very nice, full of knowledge and funny expose about absolutely beautiful and astonishing NYC. We bought at this company because you recomended, but they dosn't give the information or have nice people. One day the bus get stopped on Manhattan Bridge and we have to wait without air condition or anything more than an hour for other one that day we missed all the museums and the liberty boat because we get late, and the guide said that the next day we can use big bus b to get to the liberty cruise, because of the problem with the bus. Next day the men doesn't wanted to listen and wh ern we explain he get apart and said that he won't even listen to us, and my husband with me and our two kids have to stay there without transportation that we paid already. Then we got to the liberty cruise and they say that only we can go on the 10:30 or 4:30 cruise. We said to the big bus b man that was in there that the man who sold us the 3 day package doesn't told us and in map either not says times, but he said that every day happens that and he was tired to tell the company to say there workers to told all the information when someone wanted to buy. Then we said that he has to call someone, but we doesn't have more time to loose, and he says no and that if we insist he will call the police and get us in jail. I got angry and said to him that we are going to call the police if he doesn't give us a number to call and then he gave us a number. I called and someone named Monica answear, but she said that they are not doing anything and I have to pay usd 10 more per person and then the company will see if they refund us that. Obviously we went then for the refund, because we already paid the cruise when we bought the hole package that they offer, but they doesn't even listen to us. On the brochure says that we have to oay if we want and upgrade to the other cruises because they are a 1 and a half and 2 hours ones, and we have the 1 hour cruise, but does't says special schedules or any schedules. When we was on the pier, we saw more than 30 people that were in the same situation, so is something that they are doing always to all one. I don't know how TripAdvisor recomended that type of company, they are tourist thieves !

Good Afternoon Fiorella V, Firstly, please know we care about our staff and our passengers, international and local alike, we pride ourselves in operating a compassionate and ethical business, any thing less of that is going against our core values. We do have A/C as well as check our buses before leaving for the days service, but sometimes we experience issues during hotter days. We do understand your time is important, and unfortunately, we cannot control the NYC traffic. We do our best to monitor our routes and show our customers the best sites while still moving efficiently. In regards to the cruise, please be aware you have 5 days from the date of purchase to utilize the cruise and you can take the cruise from two piers 83 and 16. Departure times are posted on website, app and on the paper voucher provided to you when purchasing the tickets. With that being said, you shouldn't have been treated in that manner and provided the information. Any behavior that is not professional and kind is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
