Save your money and avoid this company. They over sell tickets and you waste so much time waiting in lines, only to see bus after bus pull up and leave without letting any riders on...and that’s if you’re lucky enough to even have a bus actually stop. We wasted our first hour and a half in the city just trying to board a bus. When I went back to the corner where I purchased to ask for a refund, I was told I could go to the headquarters for a refund. So me and my 2 children walked 30 minutes to find that “headquarters” is a shady looking storefront with an all black door that makes it look like no business exists. I’m then told there is a strict no refund policy (this is at no time mentioned at the point of sale). I was given a paper to fill out to request a refund, but based on all the other reviews I’ve now read on here, it doesn’t appear that they’ll refund for any reason, no matter how justified. This company scams tourists, selling tickets that they can’t provide services for. We only had 8 hours to take in the sights of the city and this company took up 2 precious hours of time. Every street corner these people are out there pressuring tourists to buy and when I would complain about not being able to catch a bus, they would point at one going by and say that there were lots of empty seats. That is until you actually go to a stop and find absolutes hordes waiting to get on. $135 down the drain, we were unable to board a single bus all day long. I’m furious this company absolutely ruined my day, I feel completely ripped off. Total SCAM.

Warning! Do NOT book this company! Firstly, the buses were not very frequent and the queues were huge to get on. They kept telling customers 'we've told them you are here and will send another bus soon'. Blatent lies. We saw a family who had been waiting in the cold for half an hour with a young child told that there were no seats on the bus when it was clear by themselves and other customers there were spaces for them. We ourselves were travelling with a 4 month old baby but no preferences were given, we had to wait and wait to get in buses. On one bus, the driver decided to pull away sharply whilst my husband was carrying our baby up the stairs! I myself tripped but thankfully my husband managed to stay steady. Please save your holiday and book with another company. When waiting for buses from topview at one particular stop, 4x city sightseeing went by but no topview coach in sight. Completely wasted a lot of our time. Oh, and they really don't like you if you bought tickets online, paper ticket holders are given preference. They are also likely to send you on a wild goose chase if you won't buy tickets from them. Don't get me started on the state of the buses. Dirty with broken parts and metal hanging off, oh and likely to break down several times in the middle of junctions! Book with another company like BigBus or citysightseeing; you will regret topview.

We did the hop on hop off 72 hour pass, first day was helpful because we went to 9/11 museum which is really far on the bus, about 45-60 min depending on traffic.. The bad news is that we didn’t realize the buses stop running at 6 and the museum ( which was amazing and takes a long time to go through) so when we came out to go find the bus stop, we walked several blocks before we figured out it wasn’t coming. We had to call Uber’s for all 10 of us to get back to our hotel, a 25 min ride and extra $80 for Uber’s. So, even though they offer a night tour, that is completely different from the daily stops. They aren’t picking you up after 6. So really there is not a great way to get around for a large group other than walking because Uber’s can add up. Good note is that there was always a bus every 5 min or so and that was the longest we had to wait for a bus. App was fairly easy to use, scan the QR code everytime you get on. There are reps everywhere, every corner and they solicit and it gets annoying after you’ve been asked 50 times to buy a ticket for the bus.
