Hands down the best thing we did in NYC (and we did a food tour and observatory experience as well!)! Outstanding views of the city and Statue of Liberty. 100% worth it to upgrade to premium seating. It was only about $15 more, but every seat was a good one. The top level was premium seating and only 48 people max, with its own bar and restroom. Standard seating has more like 450 people and looked pretty packed in. Premium seating felt relaxed and wide open, and also included expedited boarding. The tour guide was great and easy to hear, yet you could still carry on a conversation. Wonderful thing to do on a clear day!

The tour guide Andy Sydor was incredible- he kept everyone entertained and interested throughout the entire journey and he was hilarious too- he should think about doing stand-up comedy routines :D The views were breathtaking- you can be seated indoors or outdoors, we sat indoors and i’m glad we did because when it got a bit windier we had the option of sitting inside rather than having to stay out in the cold. Everyone can move around the boat as they please and go onto the deck and take pictures whenever they like. It really is a good experience and I recommend it to tourists and locals alike! One more piece of advice, bring your own water bottles because the bar is pretty pricey! But regardless, it’s an experience you will never forget.
