Our family of four had limited time to take in all of the sites and attractions New York City had to offer during our extended weekend visit.
The Landmark Cruise was the perfect option for us to get to take in some of the sites, get a bit of a history lesson, and see New York from a different perspective.
In no way would I say the cruise replaces a visit to the financial district, 1 WTC, Brooklyn, the Statue of Liberty, or Ellis Island. However, if you are looking to see all of these landmarks, get great photo opportunities, and avoid crowds, the cruise is a great choice. The Landmark Cruise is 90 minutes and we had it included as part of the City Pass we purchased prior to traveling to New York.
The weather on the day we took the cruise was sunny (bring sunscreen) but not too hot and we had a nice breeze. Sitting outside on top offered great views and photo ops.
Our teenage children also enjoyed the cruise and sites, and appreciated the alternative to some of the long lines we experienced or watched at many of the landmarks.
