Great trip. We have done cruises along the Hudson before and wanted something different. The City Lights Cruise was excellent - we didn't really get to experience must of the sail part which I'm sure would have been more fun during daylight hours. The 'bar' is out of a cooler with the choice of bottled beer or white/rose wine but it was reasonably priced and the staff were great. Seating isn't marvellous so get there early to get a decent place to sit. They do provide blankets if you get cold and there is a toilet onboard. We got some great photos of the City and the Statute of Liberty - the full moon was a bonus too!

Incredible experience with a beautiful sunset over South Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty. The meeting point is very simple to find at the end of the pier 17 The crew is very welcoming and very good cocktails are served without exaggeration of the NY Awards. I recommend this superb cruise. Thank you again.

Disappointingly, we didn’t sail a meter, we just drove to the Statue of Liberty with engine power and lay half an hour in front of the Brooklyn Bridge waiting for fireworks.

Dear Sabine, Sorry to understand that you didn’t like the somewhat spontaneous choice to also include viewing a fireworks display over the Brooklyn Bridge before raising the sails and sailing out to the Statue of Liberty and the rest of our normal route. We thought the fireworks viewing from the water was an additional treat to share the experience when we were notified by the US Coast Guard of the event. Please contact the office if you would like to discuss further and we can try to make it up to you.
