This experience will be like snorkeling but on steroids! If you like to snorkel this introduction to scuba diving is the perfect next step to explore the underwater world. You will learn the basics of diving from your knowledgeable instructors who will lead you on a guided tour of St. Andrew's State Park or a local fresh water spring if Gulf conditions are unfavorable. This is a great class for people comfortable in the water that want to explore a little deeper.

All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor

Walter and the staff at PCD were great. My wife and I stopped in early to check out the shop before our excursion and we purchased masks that fit our faces perfectly. Walter helped us fill out paperwork and went over SCUBA basics in the classroom before we left to go to the beach. Once at the beach we had an additional review of SCUBA basics in the water. After everyone in the group was comfortable and completed the basic requirements (breathing underwater, finding a dropped regulator, clearing your mask, etc) we began diving and following Walter underwater. Walter is a great teacher and instills confidence in the students with his calm demeanor and patience. They say you'll never forget your first breaths underwater. I believe this saying is true. Thankfully with Walters guidance, my first breaths are a positive memory and will likely lead to becoming certified once time allows. I would recommend this excursion to anyone interested in SCUBA but has not found the time to dedicate to becoming certified.

We are from northern Alabama and made the trip down to finish our advanced open water. Travis (instructor) went over and above what I felt like was ample training. Everyone there was awesome even the owner, (didn’t know at the time) spent time to explain differences in spear guns even though we had our own. Great place and will definitely be back anytime we go out scuba diving. Thanks guys and Bella for making a good trip even better.

My instructor was Ben and I have to tell you...he was so very patient and professional. From the minute that I booked these guys were there to impress. Go see them! I hope he got his tip!
