Met the driver and he did asked us to the bus location. My friend and my fellow wine travel buddies started the trip. We drove for an hour and arrived at the first winery-Kaya Winery the gave us 4 chips that we could cash in for 4 glasses of wine. You can choose to drink your favorite more than once or try 4 different wines. I recommend have lunch here. The chicken salad sandwich was delicious and so were the wines. The gift shop was adorable. After a short drive we arrived at our second location The Cottage where we had 5 different wines. It was served while we sat family style around a large table. Both locations were very picturesque and a joy to visit. Our last vineyard CeNita was a quaint old house with a large dog to lounge around and greet you, a guitar player and a wonderful lesson from our server on how to actually drink wine and enjoy it completely. The last drink was a frozen wine slush- amazing!
Final destination was Helen, Georgia. This is a quaint German town- lots of food, beverages, sweets, and fun. We were there an hour and then our driver brought us back to our pick up/drop off location.
The only thing was wasn’t perfect was the MTV type music videos 70’s and 80’s being blasted coming and going. None of us needed the videos. But other than that the trip was perfect.
We purchased our tickets on Groupon for $195.00 for two tickets. Well worth a great day.
Advice- eat before, eat at your first stop, and eat in Helen. Sop up a little wine. 😉
