Overview

Full-day trip from Downtown Atlanta to the North Georgia Wine Country. Admire the rolling hills and vineyards that make up Georgia’s premier wine region. Visit three celebrated wineries for approximately 13 wine tastings. After the wine tastings we will visit Helen, GA for lunch, a re-creation of a Bavarian Alpine village, complete with cobblestone streets. Helen has more than 200 specialty and import shops offering everything from candle making and glass blowing to cuckoo clocks and quilts. A taste of Germany in North Georgia.

Our driver Pam was very friendly and very accommodating to us. She always had a smile on her face! We enjoyed the three tastings. We had a lot of dancing at the second to last tasting!

Although the wine tour was good, I didn’t enjoy the outing to Helen. Once we arrived to Helen, the lines for the restaurants were long and the food was mediocre. I would rather you all arrange for food to be given to us at one of the wineries.
