Overview

Full-day trip from Downtown Atlanta to the North Georgia Wine Country. Admire the rolling hills and vineyards that make up Georgia’s premier wine region. Visit three celebrated wineries for approximately 13 wine tastings. After the wine tastings we will visit Helen, GA for lunch, a re-creation of a Bavarian Alpine village, complete with cobblestone streets. Helen has more than 200 specialty and import shops offering everything from candle making and glass blowing to cuckoo clocks and quilts. A taste of Germany in North Georgia.

I enjoyed this tour thoroughly. All vineyards and tastings had their own character and personality. The first spot has the best scenery. I bought this wonderful wine from the 2nd spot. The third was also fun and where you actually get a little tipsy. Helen was also a very cool quaint town. Enjoyed that part of the trip as well. Highly recommend.

Our family enjoyed the wineries very much. Liked that they all had a different theme. Our driver, Pam was excellent, she was very attentive to the guests on the bus. Would have enjoyed more up to date music on the bus ride. Our visit to Helen was ok, it was very crowded Thanksgiving weekend. Be ready for a long day. I would recommend this event.

Pam is an amazing DD for our tour. She knew everyone’s name. She was always making sure that we were okay.
