PLEASE NOTE that visibility of the northern lights (aurora) is not guaranteed. It is a natural phenomenon we have no control over and no refunds will be given if the aurora cannot be seen.

The road to Murphy Dome is steep and if it is not plowed or is too icy and dangerous we will take customers to an alternative location that provides the same opportunity to see the aurora.

All my life I wanted to see the Northern Lights. Though they weren't as visible as I had hoped to the naked eye (nothing anyone can guarantee you), I was able to capture some amazing photos because the Murphy Dome owner knew the exact settings for my camera in order to get the best shots. This trip would have been a complete bust if I didn't have his expertise! And lets not forget Bob, our guide. At 20 degrees below zero he watched the sky like a hawk to make sure we were outside to get the best sights/photos and then inside to keep warm. His knowledge and love for Alaska flowed easily which only made the trip that more delightful. Thank you! I look forward to my NEXT trip with Alaska Wildlife Guides in two days!

Bob, our guide, was great! We were not able see the Aurora but it was still fun driving around and enjoying the view.. the Alaskan view was great!! The hot chocolate was delicious! 😀

Grace was the perfect host for this magnificent adventure. She was well prepared and made us feel comfortable the entire time. Even making us a warm cup of hot chocolate while we watched the aurora dance above us.
