I booked this trip with Viator back in the UK. I opted for skip the line tickets with iPad tour once up at the Observatory. I wasn’t disappointed the process to get through security was swift and then we were shown to the elevator up to the top. WOW - the views of Manhattan and beyond were amazing. The iPad was excellent at advising you of what you were looking at. This was a fabulous experience and worth the money in my eyes.

Proceed with caution when purchasing the Priority Ticket for an increased cost on days where the visitor volumes are low. I spent $75.00 for a Priority pass, only to find out that they were “ignoring” the 33-minute wait time that was posted as the next entry time for the standard tickets. It was so slow, there was no point in the expedited security check line or exit lines when you get ready to leave. It’s a shame that One World Observatory would offer such a ticket offering when there wasn’t a need. It’s misleading and deceptive all in a way to earn extra income.
