Growing up—and to this day—I always considered New York City to be my home away from home. This is in part thanks to Mike and his educational, engaging, and insightful tours of the boroughs, where it’s easy to walk away from the experience feeling like a local. Anyone who is seeking out a tour of the city would be making a terrible mistake if they don’t book one with NYC Explained!!!

My husband and me had the pleasure to get Mike as guide for our first trip in NY and we couldn't be happier with it! We wanted to live the city as real newyorkers and he offered us a tour through the places and habits of NY daily life, starting from the best Bagel we had, continuing with stories about surrounding and special Buildings like Bank, Central Station. He told us fascinating moments from the past and how the newyorkers came along them. The End was in the wonderful Central Park and was just amazing. Having such a guide ensures getting insights that you'll never find in a book guide, so, just go for it :)
