On our one-and-a-half-hour dolphin cruise, you’ll get an up-close view of our resident dolphin pod. Between 50 and 70 dolphins reside together in our bay, and by paying close attention to them over the years, we have named many of them. We know them by their unique dorsal fins and will introduce you to our water-loving friends when you cruise with us aboard The Explorer, our 40' Pontoon Style Vessel. Dolphin sightings are guaranteed, or you next trip is free!

Perfect for families or those just wanting a Dolphin-specific cruise in Orange Beach. Our expert guides can identify many of the resident dolphins and share fun facts about their behaviors, their habitat, and their relationships within the pod.

We have been able to accommodate most requests. Please call us at 251-550-8000 to discuss your needs with our staff.

Our knowledgeable tour guide and captain point out the local flora and fauna. You may see osprey and their nests, herons, bald eagles, red-tailed hawks, and more! The Explorer allows us to get as close as safely possible to the banks and the local marine and wildlife.

When our family travels out of state, we enjoy experiences unique to the areas we visit. Indiana does not have wild dolphins, so we were excited for an opportunity to see them in Alabama! :) Marc and Jennifer were excellent crew. They took care of and conversed with all the guests on the boat. We had our five young children on board, and they were great about getting them to parts of the boat for the best dolphin viewing. Captain Lynn was also fantastic! He is very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna locally, and he was a great teacher about our surroundings. He also made the trip interactive, asking questions that my 8-year-old son jumped at the chance to answer. Captain Lynn also got several passengers, adults and kids alike, to sit and pilot the boat for a little while. When my 5-year-old walked over and told him her birthday would be Saturday, he led the boat in singing happy birthday to her. She glowed! I have seen other reviews complain about music on these tours. That was not a concern with this tour. The music was played at a reasonable volume, it was appropriate if not mildly humorous since the dolphins were courting :). Our family appreciated Captain Lynn enlisting Marvin Gaye to get the dolphins “in the mood.” Lol Lastly, of course we saw dolphins, and I appreciated how Captain Lynn worked together with another boat’s captain from another company to provide the best dolphin watching experience for everyone. Overall, this was a great experience that my kids loved and will remember. Thank you!

We went on the cruise with our 12 yr and 4 yr old daughters. We were able to see several pods of dolphins, a couple egrets, blue herons, pelicans and an osprey. The captain and staff were wonderful!

The Staff was great very kind and informative! The boat was smaller which was great ! It was able to get near the dolphins a lot closer then the larger boats. Would recommend 🤗
