Our cage-free experience allows you to SAFELY swim with sharks in their natural environment. You will walk away with a new perspective and appreciation for these beautiful creatures. Photos and Videos are included for free on every tour! We are a Native Hawaiian family owned and operated company rooted in Haleiwa, Hawai'i on the North Shore of O'ahu.

A safety diver will escort you into the water where you will be able to safely watch as well as swim with the sharks, and other pelagic creatures. While swimming in the open ocean with sharks and other pelagic creatures, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the ocean and its inhabitants - disposing of the irrational fears and misconceptions of sharks and other ocean creatures.

This is a "cage-free" experience where we will be free swimming with sharks for about 30 minutes. No heavy equipment is used. Just us with snorkel gear - so we keep the experience as natural as possible.

  • Public transportation options are available nearby
  • Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
  • Minimum age is 5 years old - must be accompanied by an adult
  • Get a good night's rest before your adventure!
  • We kindly ask you leave behind any preconceived notions about sharks and experience this adventure with an open mind
  • Always be attentive and present in the water, keeping your ears above water and paying close attention to the Safety Diver's instructions
  • If you are prone to seasickness, please take Dramamine 1 hour prior to the tour
  • A minimum of 3 people per trip is required for any trip. If you are booking as a single passenger, we will contact you if the minimum trip requirements are not met.

World class trip with Island View Hawaii to do an open water swim with sharks. Cannot recommend this excursion enough - you'll want to stay in the water all day. The staff made us feel so comfortable, talked through everything with us leaving no stone unturned and no question unanswered. Any fears you have will immediately disappear with these guys and once you're in the water, you'll consider it one of the best experiences of your life. Cannot recommend these guys enough! Don't miss this if you are in Oahu.

I can not even begin to express how impressed I am with everything. From start to finish they went way above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying the trip. They were super knowledgeable about the sharks and never once did I feel unsafe. A few in our group got sea sick and they made sure to get them back to the boat safe to rest. Another one in our group was able to hang onto the guide the whole time to feel more comfortable in the water. We have now done this tour twice and are looking to go again because it is that amazing. Love that they have a photographer on board that takes incredible photos and are super cheap. Another plus is they are a local family owned business so you feel more like a friend/valued customer rather than just another number. You can truly see the passion they have and love for what they do.
