The PistachioLand tour offers a ride on a 14 passenger electric vehicle through the pistachio orchards and vineyards. This is a working farm where pistachios and wine grapes are produced, and wine and candy is also produced on-site. Free samples of nuts and wine are available in the gift shop. Although you can walk-in to purchase a $2 ticket, booking guarantees a seat unless canceled for weather. Risks: Open air vehicle exposed to weather, wildlife and farm operations. Tour vehicle travels on a bumpy, gravel road. Pets are not allowed on tour due to insurance requirements. Waivers required from each guest. Must be seated on the vehicle 15 minutes prior to departure.

We took the tour this last week. Sam, the tour guide, was very knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. She had a good sense of humor. And on top of the tour, your receipt was good for a home made cookie. Cookies were excellent. The store was fun to visit and to sample the many flavored pistachios.

I stopped by to kill some time on a business trip, and will be bringing the family in the future! I had an amazing time and learned a ton about pistachios. We took a tour with James who gave an amazing tour! He has a great sense of humor which he shares with all, especially the bunnies and squirrels! Truly a gem in the desert!!

PistachioLand is so a fun stop when traveling through New Mexico. The Farm Tour was awesome. Katelyn did a great job with the funny jokes along the way, and I learned so much about pistachios. It was fun and quirky experience. The pistachio sample bar was excellent and I came home with several different flavors. PistachioLand is a MUST SEE when you're in the area.
