On our pony rides, your keiki (kids) have a chance to do something they'll always feel proud of. Riding a horse is an unforgettable experience for kids, and our wranglers will help them become little wranglers in a setting that’s safe and comfortable.

Parents can walk alongside their child at no charge and get a few great photos along the way. Parents can also ride a horse alongside their child for the same price. One of our wranglers will lead, or “pony”, the horse while the kids sit in the saddle and feel on top of the world. Parents and kids alike can take in the beautiful scenery on the ranch, enjoying native Hawaiian plants, birds, and a cool, fresh breeze. Gunstock Ranch is situated in one of the most picturesque spots on Oahu’s North Shore, so there’s plenty for all ages to appreciate.
After the ride, children will have a chance to feed and pet the horses for the perfect end to a great adventure.

CHECK-IN TIME: Check-in time is 30 minutes prior to the start time of tour

All passenger weights MUST be advised at time of booking. 235lb/109kg weight limit
Long pants and covered shoes are recommended; bring a light jacket if the weather is cold
We ride rain or shine. If canceled due to unsafe weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund

It was my 7-year-old kid's first horse ride. She enjoyed it very much and said it was one of the best experiences during her stay in Oahu. The ranch was beautiful. The guide, Ty, was very nice to the kid and told her about the horse and the ranch while taking her around on horse. At the end of the tour, the kid had a chance to comb and feed the horse.

Gunstock Ranch came highly recommended for my two year old who is obsessed with horses. The experience did not disappoint! We were greeted warmly and able to pet some of the horses while we waited to start our ride. My two year old was fitted with a helmet before going on a very nice ride around the property. Brian was our guide and Mochi was the horse. Brian was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, he was sure to make the experience educational as well as fun. We will definitely be back again.

I took my 2 grandchildren (ages: just turned 2 and just turned 4) to Gunstock for ponie rides as a Christmas present and they loved it! They take the kids on a "real" ride...on paths up hills etc. and then give them a chance to brush and feed the horses. There are also goats and sheep the kids can feed. They haven't stopped talking about their visit.
