Exchange your voucher for your one day or two day pass and a current time schedule at the Gray Line Pink Sale booth at 846 SW Park Avenue (Stop 1). As no reservations are required or accepted on the trolley, only after you exchange your voucher for a pass at the ticket booth are you confirmed of a seat on the next departure that has seats available. If you are planning to join us prior to 1pm we would request that you exchange your voucher at Stop 1 to ensure you have a seat. With a voucher and assuming there is room on the trolley you may board at any stop but please exchange your voucher for a ticket when you get to Stop 1.

I bought 5 vouchers through Expedia for a 2 day tour. Three of us went on Sunday and found it to be boring with very few opportunities to take pictures due to obstructions. I understand that type of problem but when we 3 and the other 2 went back to get their tickets at 11:10a on Monday the 2 that were showing their voucher and turning it in for tickets were told they couldn't get a ticket until 12 and would not be able to get on the trolley until 1 because its full. However, we 3 that already had a ticket could get on at noon. We asked for the ticket at the time we were standing there with the understanding we would walk to another trolley area to get on and were told no they won't do that. We 5 walked away never to ride the Pink Trolley again. By the way, we have gone to 8 other cities and 7 of them we did the Hop on/Hop off with no problems.

I am sorry that the hop-on hop-off tour did not meet your expections. The boring comment in not one that we have seen before. I am not sure where you were sitting on the trolley but 50% of the seats are in the open so an unobstructed shot should have been available even if you choose not to hop off. Since we do not take reservations on the trolley sometimes we have to limit sales due to demand and need to ask customer to wait until the next departure.

This is always a fun way to spend a few hours and we saw so much of the city that we've never seen. The tour operators are very knowledgeable and usually have a great sense of humor as they point out the sights and interesting facts about Portland. This was our second summer doing this tour and we learned new things about one of our favorite cities. The last tour departs next to Nordstrom across from Courthouse Square (which is where the tickets are sold... next to Starbucks... look for the pink and white tent). Definitely worth taking the tour any time of day!
