Exchange your voucher for your one day or two day pass and a current time schedule at the Gray Line Pink Sale booth at 846 SW Park Avenue (Stop 1). As no reservations are required or accepted on the trolley, only after you exchange your voucher for a pass at the ticket booth are you confirmed of a seat on the next departure that has seats available. If you are planning to join us prior to 1pm we would request that you exchange your voucher at Stop 1 to ensure you have a seat. With a voucher and assuming there is room on the trolley you may board at any stop but please exchange your voucher for a ticket when you get to Stop 1.

In general, we like to start our city vacations with the hop on hop off bus to get acclimated to the city, however, this bus was disappointing! The bus is too small: the windows are not long enough to see the highlights. the seats are too narrow and the row in front of us is too tight (very squishy for an average sized adult). We rode the bus on July 3rd. The bus population increased with every stop so most of our tour was packed with standing people surrounding us. The company should add more buses during popular times of the year. Our female driver/school bus driver was unorganized. She would start talking about a highlight and then get interrupted and never finish her thoughts. We drove by all the highlights outlined but I didn't actually see them. We bought a two-day pass but chose to ride the trolleys on day two. We could see the city much better from these windows.

I am sorry that the tour did not meet your expections. The trolleys are custom built and are 50% open and the window that are there open 50% so I not sure other than making the trolley 100% open that they could meet your expections. All vehicles are limited in width by federal law and there always is a balance between seat width and aisle width. We did have unexpected demand on July 3 and had a few standees between some of the stops. Thank you for your feedback on the driver guide. We will counsel her on tour presentation.

Our tour guide was very sweet and somewhat knowledgable but mumbled and was difficult to understand. She often described something we should look at but then didn't clearly let us know where to look. She pointed out the come to the white man statue but didn't explain anything about it. I googled the story behind it and it was actually really interesting. She often repeated herself which was distracting.

We used the trolley bus to get an orientation of where our hotel was in relation to the tourist bits of Portland and it helped a lot. The drivers are all great fun to listen to even if they do get some facts slightly wrong (Eminem didn't go to Lincoln High School in Portland, it was Detroit). They do keep you informed of where you are and take great care to ensure you're off safe and not left behind. We only wish they kept running longer in the summer because finishing early evening (five-ish) loses them a lot of business.
