Our private tour with Obsidian Cliff Tours was amazing. Carol, our tour guide was very professional and pleasant. She guided us through the park with expertise and took us to places we couldn’t have seen without her help. She went out of her way to show us everything we must have seen while visiting Grand Teton National Park. We had our picnic lunch enjoying the most beautiful view of Jackson Hole and the Rocky Mountains! Thank you Carol. You are a gem!!!

So you’ve made the trek to the Grand Tetons, or Yellowstone, now what? You hop on Al Gore’s internet and book an exciting excursion with Obsidian Cliff tours, of course. We were met at our hotel, on time, by our tour guide Ted. If you think you know the great outdoors in Jackson hold your Buffalos there partner. Ted took us back to college geology explaining, throughly, how the Tetons were formed and pointed out a bunch of great land features, but don’t worry, it didn’t stop there! Ted escorted us to ALL of the local cool spots while also acting as our personal photographer. We were treated to the valley floor as well as a view from above, which was pretty cool. It’s apparent Ted really enjoys his job and that translated into a great tour. While we saw many great things, we about got skunked on wild animals. Interesting how Ted couldn’t just make wild animals appear, he should work on that :). However, Ted made every attempt to get us to see some local residence. We did see a bald eagle (‘Merica!), a Crane, and some Swans. Then, when we about called it a quits, and we’re leaving the park for our hotel what did we see... A MOOSE! And that Moose saved the day. Not really, the day didn’t need to be saved because we had such a great tour, but it was the cherry on top.

What an awesome TripAdvisor review. It totally warmed our hearts and made us laugh quite a bit too. We're so glad the "moose saved the day" and that you were able to do a deep dive into the geomorphology of the Tetons. Come back an see us again soon and bring a few friends. Stay safe. Stay healthy. And, happy trails.
