We booked with Captain Mike for 3 days. We had good success on all 3 days with halibut (caught our limit on 2 of 3 days) lots of salmon, King Salmon, and crab. Mike was very knowledgeable, patient, and did a great job baiting and keeping our poles in the water - and often had more than one fish on at a time. We would not hesitate to use again when fishing in Ketchikan.

I am a little late writing this review but last fall a buddy and I wanted to book a fishing trip in Ketchikan Alaska. I decided to go with The Alaska Catch fishing charters and booked a couple day trips. After arrival I met Captain Mike and Captain Jimmy, both are very knowledgeable and great to spend time with. These guys really made the trip worthwhile, you can tell they really want you to catch fish and get just as excited as you when you get one on the line and knew right where the fish would be. In addition to a great experience was the quality of the boats, they are in immaculate condition and the cleanest I have ever been on. A bonus to the whole experience was seeing all the whales along with other wildlife and amazing scenery. Overall I could have not of been more happy with my trip and I will definitely be booking with The Alaska Catch again in the future.

We had a great time. Captain Mike was very helpful in getting us to the boat and finding our way around Ketchikan. It was a beautiful day. Dress in layers so as the sun came out and we were bottom fishing we were able to shed the layers and remain comfortable. The boat was in excellent condition. We caught our limit on Halibut with his excellent advice. Really a fun catch and not too hard to get in the boat. We caught several interesting additional fish that made it exciting. After reaching our limit on Halibut we were able to tackle some Salmon fishing. One of the highlights of our Alaskan adventure.
