We had a wonderful time with Captain Mike fishing for halibut. He worked hard baiting our lines and maneuvering us into just the right position to make our catch. Great day out on the water!

Captain Mike/The Alaska Catch was amazing. We took an Alaskan cruise with our young adult kids and decided when in Alaska you have to go fishing! We purchased a combo charter of Salmon and Halibut and were so glad we did! Captian Mike put us right on the halibut and we caught our limit. Then we went for salmon and caught several. Mike met us right where the cruise ship let us off and then we made a short walk to the fishing boat. Captain Mike knows his stuff. He baited the line but we got to do all the fishing. We've heard of some fishing charters who barely let the customers hold a pole - Mike taught us and then let us go. It was a blast and when we are back in Ketchikan we will hit Mike up for another fishing trip!

We book this charter before we went on are cruise. We had rain when we went out ( not unusual for Ketchikan or Alaska) the water started getting very rough. My wife and I are not strangers to this but it got bad our Captain just looked at us and said I am calling off we are going back in . This is one smart Charter Captain, taken SAFETY FIRST . WE WANTED TO FISH BAD but this out fit was looking out for there clients . I personally want to say to anyone ,book with these folks . They no what there doing !! O by the way they refunded all of are money .....
