Just coming out of a one-year hiatus from travelling, I was a bit unsure about getting on a crowded ferry, so I booked this private boat tour. It's a great way to view the New York skyline (and the Jersey skyline too!), the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn, Manhattan and Williamsburg bridges all in one trip. Our captain, Kris knew just the right spots to stop and take pictures. He also gave us a bit of history on some of the buildings and other features along the route. Excellent guide!

We booked the private NYC boat tour for my brothers 30th birthday. It was a great experience and a unique way to view the city! I had never seen the statue of liberty before up close and was so excited to get a front seat view. Other people in the boat had gone to the island and said that the experience was much better from the boat :) The driver was very knowledgeable and had fun with the group! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to see the sights. Also great photo opportunities too!

We booked the 1 hour tour leaving from Lower Manhattan. The tour was supposed to be for 6 people, but we were the only ones on the boat. It was a treat for my mum's birthday. It was brilliant! Without doubt, one of the best things to do in New York City. Mike, our skipper, and the owner of the boat was absolutely brilliant. A native New Yorker. He was great with us. Stopping to take the perfect picture of us at various points, and taking to us about the history of New York. Don't book the crowded larger boats, which don't get as close up to the Statue of Liberty. And don't look as relaxing. Spend the little extra dollars and book this. And book it with NYCbySea.
