We did a private tour of the east side of the island, and I wish we would have known how AMAZING this would be; we would have also booked a tour with Jack for the west side as well. He arrived early to pick us up, listened to what was important for us to see and what wasn't, sprinkled in his experience and advice and out popped the best day we've had this week! I have been to Kauai many times and.....maybe embarrasingly.....I had never been to any of the places we visited. I will definitely do this again the next time I am here!!

This private tour with guide in an SUV was wonderful. We selected to see the North and East sides of Kauai. This was the perfect choice!!

My wife and I were on Kauai for a short trip and wanted to see as much of the island and possible. We decided to go with the private tour of the north and east side of the island. We had already scheduled a bike tour of the south and west. We found the Best of Kauai Tours. They had super high reviews, so we went with them and we are glad we did. Our tour guide Jeff was outstanding. He has lived on the island for over 20 years and has a big background in movies, TV, and music. My wife and I love movie so we were super interested in movie locations on the island so it was a good match. Jeff was very friendly and was super relaxed. We really enjoyed his company on our tour. We were picked up at the front of our hotel in a nice SUV and began our journey. The tour included a nice picnic lunch at a beach. We were super comfortable the entire time and were encouraged to get out and explore when we made stops. We were able to see many places that were devoid of tourists thanks to Jeff. We even learned about the origins of Puff the Magic Dragon. It was very educational. We felt like we got to see some hidden gems of the island. We highly recommend the Best of Kaui Tours.
