Overlook Hanalei Valley and look down onto taro fields. See the breath of Hanalei from above including majestic mountains and waterfalls. (North East Tour)

Kileaua Point National Wildlife Refuge Lighthouse

Visit Kauai's bird sanctuary, see firsthand the refuge's seabirds like the red-footed boobies, the wedge-tailed shearwaters, and the red and white-tailed tropicbirds. Also check out the 100 year old, 52-ft Lighthouse. (North East Tour)

Enjoyed our day with Kevin! Very attentive, knowledgeable. Loves his island and sharing it with guests. Learned the history, saw beautiful sites, had a great lunch.

Our driver, Orlando, besides being knowledgeable about beautiful Kauai in general, knew all the best ( and most gorgeous) places to take us both on and off the “beaten path” of the North and East Shores. A wonderful health food shack called “Nourish” overlooking one of the most spectacular views in Hanalei. A gorgeous double waterfall in a part of the island seldom seen by visitors. A very special experience. Thank you, Orlando!

Scott was a great guide who knows Kauai inside out. He showed us a breathtaking array of sights, left room for improvisation based upon our own tastes and what we wanted to do/see, and was very kind -- a wonderful person to spend the day with. While this experience is on the pricy side, we both agreed that the private aspect of the tour was really worth it (as opposed to being on a bus with a lot of others). That's a significant part of what you're paying for here, so if you decide to do this, take advantage of the fact that you're able to tailor the tour to what you want to see, where you'd like to stop, etc. Highly recommended.
