My second time on a river trip with the Volpert family. First was on the Middle Fork of the Salmon with Idaho River Journeys. And now on the Rogue with Indigo Creek. Both trips were stunning, well planned, a food extravaganza and wonderful, knowledgeable guides.

Our family of four took the three day Rogue rafting trip with Indigo Creek in late June 2021. We had a blast! Our trip was everything we hoped it would be. It was exciting yet peaceful and safe at the same time. Our guide (Jill) has been rafting this section of the Rogue for over 20 years. She was really knowledgeable about each and every inch of the river, how to safely navigate it and also read the crowd well in terms of who wanted a little more adventure each day. Our gear guide and camp scouter (Ian) snagged great campsites ahead of us, had everything set up and efficiently organized when we arrived. The food was amazing, all details covered. Plus Jill and Ian were super chill and flexible throughout the trip, giving us options to hike, explore creeks up slide slot canyons or just relaxing at camp-whatever we wanted to do. We are so glad we went with a local company like Indigo Creek-thank you for a wonderful trip!

I was on a multi-day Rogue River trip guided by Will, the owner of Indigo. Two groups scheduled this trip and Will, most graciously, and without our encouragement, separated the groups, and added himself as guide for our smaller trip. He needn't have done this, but doing it is an indication of the care and thoughtfulness he gives Indigo's river running clients. The trip itself was exhilarating but, then, so are almost all river trips. I've taken dozens, both private and commercial. I'll remember this one for the river itself and a couple glorious mornings, but especially for Will and the outstanding food. The individual appetizers he served for each of us each day would have been outstanding at any fine big city restaurant. River guides always know the river, but Will's personal knowledge of the Rogue and its surroundings is also a contribution beyond that I usually experience. I look forward to another multi-day trip with Indigo next month.
