We did the 3-day Rogue River trip in June 2021. Weather was great. Warm during the day, cool at night. Could not have been any better of a trip. We've been on whitewater rafting trips before in Maine and Tennessee. Indigo Creek takes it to the next level. We had 13 people total in our group, and 4 crew members, Jill, TJ, Addie, and Ian. They were working nonstop to make sure we were well-fed, comfortable, and having fun. They woke up early, went to sleep late, and worked hard all day to make the trip is as accommodating as possible. The river guides are top notch. They make you feel safe the entire time. Don't be fooled by their laid-back attitude and humorous personalities. They are professionals and the best at what they do.
The food was absolutely fantastic. They bring a full kitchen with pots/pans, grill, propane, utensils, dishes, cutting boards, knives, knife sharpener, etc. They wash the dishes and utensils after every meal. They beat fresh eggs for breakfast, cut whole potatoes and onions at camp, season the meat and veggies while cooking. All these things could have been skimped on for convenience, but they don't and we really appreciated that. They make sure the guests receive the best quality. The menu is fantastic with healthy delicious meals to give you the energy to raft all day.
The tents, sleeping bags, and camp chairs are all high quality ALPS Mountaineering gear. I recommend you bring a comfortable pillow. The sleeping pads are comfortable, and nothing beats falling asleep under the stars and to the sound of the Rogue River.
The Rogue River is extremely beautiful and scenic. We saw bald eagles and ospreys every day. The class 3 rapids are alot of fun. I highly recommend the multi-day trip because you get to experience the river in a way you can't on a single-day trip, and you get quality time getting to unplug and connect with nature, the good people around you, and yourself.
