The character of the staff and owners at Indigo Creek epitomize the friendly relaxed carefree west coast attitude to life, however, it was reassuring to see that their laidback attitude did not extend to safety. That was handled extremely seriously. Despite the thrill of riding class IV rapids, I always felt that my 8 year olds were in safe hands.
The website accurately describes the rapids; easy to start with as the raft passes lots of wild life progressing to two spectacular class IV sections.
We received several other benefits which are not explicitly mentioned in the website;
Free parking
Free “locker” (well, draw in filing cabinet) for valuables while out rafting
Free photographs of the trip
Free snacks and drinks after the trip
There are several companies operating rafting trips on the Rogue river and they might also offer a great experience, but it is hard to see how they could possibly better Indigo Creek.
Truly memorable.
Incidentally, I have no affiliation to the company and only chose them because the hotel receptionist recommended them because “they treat their staff well”.
