I was extremely nervous going on this trip. I kept hearing how the Arkansas River was dangerous 😳 and how many met their end. That all changed from my first meeting with Lost Paddle and their team with Jacob our guide. We had 3 brand new people on the boat and Jacob was excellent teaching us patiently how to paddle and lean out and in the boat. He had each one of us jumping off the boat and rescuing each other so we became a team. I can't recommend this experience highly enough and Lost Paddle was so accommodating to our large group.

This was a great rafting trip down the Royal Gorge. There were plenty of sights, lots of information about the gorge, and a fun swimming spot during the trip. The guides were awesome, explained everything we needed to know, and knew how to navigate the river flawlessly. They really made the trip fun. I have been rafting several times and feel this was my favorite trip. Lost Paddle Rafting is one of the smaller companies in the area, but really deliver. I would highly recommend booking with them.
