Our trips depart from Mission Bay, which requires only a short 10 minute journey access to the open ocean where whales and dolphins can be seen! The search for whales and other animals begins as soon as you depart the dock and our marine biologists are on the microphone explaining exactly what to expect and what you are seeing from the get go!
Typically our trips are 2.5-3 hours in length, but time can vary based on seasons and locations of sightings.

What an incredible experience on the Pacific Ocean! Calm water and a very peaceful voyage. The professional commentary provided was very helpful and there was great excitement when we actually spotted 2 whales. We highly recommend this tour. Great value for the money.

We saw 8 grey whales but they stayed mostly just under the surface. We maybe spent too long waiting for them to resurface and then ran out of time to follow the group of dolphins that we did see.

We had a great afternoon on the boat. The naturalist pointed out at least 5 different gray whales, a pod of dolphins and some pelagic birds. Lots of seating inside and out. The weather was beautiful. They boat had all the supplies you needed for the trip including binoculars , suntan lotion and extra sunglasses. What a great value.
