The times on the website did not match the times of the actual buses. The website says the first stop is union square, this is not right. We got to union square the time the website said, found out the tickets are cheaper if you got them there. Waited 40 minutes and changed buses twice. The buses do not run every 30 minutes like the website said and no one could agree on what time they would be leaving. The website stated that we would stop at 20 stops but did not inform us that we would miss 3 of those stops because it was Sunday. I am not mad at the people who were there, they were very nice and tried to help as much as they could. I am mad at the website which was wrong and misleading. It is hard to plan my time when the website is full of misinformation.

Take the other “awful” reviews with a grain of salt - we had a good experience and they seem to have improved their services based on the feedback. My partner and I visited San Fran over the weekend from Canada. The main reason we took this tour was to get across the Golden Gate Bridge. The tour delivered on that and we really enjoyed the tour guides Chino and Saggy. The competitor had massive lines to get on the bus whereas with this tour we were guaranteed a spot at the top. We were never stranded like other reviewers had described - they literally stopped and opened their doors for us in the middle of traffic when we were running after them. Pros: - Cheaper - Live tour instead of a recording - Fewer people Cons - Hard to hear the live tour because of traffic noise - Fewer stops than competitor

I have taken many hop on hop off tours and I’ve always had great experiences until today! I might as well have just thrown my money into the bay. The bus NEVER stopped at the tourist stops, and they never even said where we were. We had NO IDEA we even passed the stops. When we purchased the tickets, the girl told us about all of the “fun and amazing” places they take you and we just drove by them all with no warning. The bus also stank so much we couldn’t sit down below. We ended up getting off and just walking which was much more fun.
