Robert, our guide, was so informative telling us bits and pieces of the history of San Francisco. Plus the music he played to enhance our experience was so delightful. I most definitely will be taking this bus tour again!

While the bus itself was a bit of a wreck the guide, Willie, was great. Really hilarious and very knowledgeable. He made it all worthwhile.

Husband and I took the hop on/hop off tour starting at Union Square. Bought the ticket at the square from a guy in a red jacket who immediately came down to $40pp. Sat upstairs which was a better vantage point but absolutely freezing cold. Crossing the Golden Gate bridge up there was brutally cold. Too windy. We rode downstairs coming back and could not see out the windows. Much depends on the tour guide. If you get a comedian, you want to hop off while it's still moving. If you get a good guide who tells you about the city it is tolerable. Do NOT use the porta-potties at the H. Dana Bowers Rest Area at the north end of the bridge. Vile, unclean, unhealthy facilities. I'm still not over it.
