Shannon was my tour guide, she provided an excellent tour. The tour pace was sufficient to listen to her narratives of the specific graves and view the cemetery. She provided excellent information of the cemetery's early use and how changing economic times impacted society's use of the cemetery. I especially enjoyed the information about the Free Masons. Pertaining to how graves were built and the Free Mason's influence on local society (bad and good).

This was an incredible tour. Shannon Scott is the reason why there are tours at Bonaventure and he gives the most informative tour in Savannah.

Using these folks for our cemetery tour was a wise decision. We frequently take city and historical tours and this one was exceptional. Lisa Marie was our hostess and educator. She shares her love for of the history of the cemetery with a perfect combination of knowledge and southern charm. She is very engaging and has a gift for just the right amount of theatrical flair to make the stories come alive, making the 2 hours captivating.
