We have been to Bonaventure a few times before but taking a tour really brought it to life. So many stories to tell of the families that are buried there. We toured with Lisa Marie and she was fantastic. Entertaining and informative, the 2 hours flew by. Our tour day was foggy which only added to the atmosphere of this special place.

I did the walking tour of Bonaventure with tour guide/storyist Rich Lane. First of all, Bonaventure is amazing and is a must see all on its own. Add a fantastic guide and you can't beat this experience! Rich was knowledgeable and treated us to the perfect mix of Savannah history and storytelling. Although there was lots to see, I never felt rushed and had ample time to take pictures and enjoy the Bonaventure beauty.

We were in a small group with Lisa Marie, who gave us one of the best tours we've ever had, of anything! Her depth of knowledge, great personality, and passion brought the families whose graves we were visiting back to life. There was a new fascinating story at every turn (and now we know the real meaning of Dead Ringer) . We would have loved to keep going and hear more stories. Touring the cemetery with Lisa Marie was a gift we will never forget!
