My boyfriend and I took a trip to Savannah in late March. Our tour of Bonaventure with Shannon was the highlight of our trip. Shannon is a gifted storyteller and really brought the cemetery to life. By the time the tour was over, I felt like I knew Savannah on a personal level. The stories he told were emotional and you can tell he truly cares about the Souls he visits in Bonaventure, especially little Gracie. The cemetery itself is beautiful and we were lucky enough to be there on a lovely sunny day. This tour is a must-do in Savannah!

Don’t go to any other tour!!!! Shannon was our tour guide and we couldn’t imagine having anyone else. He was able to explain so much about the cemetery and keep our attention the whole time.

An absolute must even if this is your first trip to Savannah. This tour was exceptional. Shannon is a true historian who brought the story of multiple families to life. He gave descriptive details of the history of Savannah including information on religious and mystical practices, as well as providing a brief symbology lesson (think Da Vinci Code) that will not be forgotten. The tour can go over two hours and you should bring water. We statyed at a bed and breakfast and another couple saw the cemetary on their own and there was no comparison to our experience.
