My husband and I took this tour the first Saturday in June. We are from South and this is not the first time I've toured an old cemetery. This tour was less than what I expected; as a matter of fact, my husband was bored and we casually left before it was over. We enjoyed walking the cemetery on our own much more than with the group. This was not interesting to either of us. So glad we did not spend the money for the nighttime tour.

My husband and I took a ghost tour in historic Savannah 11 years ago with Shannon Scott, so when I found out that we'd be back in Savannah again, I immediately booked the Bonaventure Cemetery tour! Shannon has made it his life's work to know the history, secrets and personalities of Savannah like no one else. His tour is never boring - you're constantly learning so much and the pace is just right, never rushed and never lagging. We learned so much about the lives of those residing under the majestic live oaks of Bonaventure Cemetery, and there are so many fascinating secrets: secret vaults and other hidden details that you would never know without his guided expertise. Highly recommend for all ages!

First visit to Savannah and glad we took time for the cemetery journey with Shannon. His storytelling captivates the group. Wear good walking shoes and bring water as the tours last 2 - 2 1/2 hours and you'll enjoy every minute of the history lesson!
