We enjoyed a very informative tour with Shannon last week. Two and 1/2 hours is a long time to keep people's attention. But by the looks on everyone's face - the group was totally engrossed into the stories he told. On top of the great tour, Shannon was able to make it much more enjoyable for my husband. He has back issues and after standing for awhile his back seizes up and is painful. I didn't think my husband was going to last the entire tour - it is mostly a standing tour. He happened to mention this to Shannon at the beginning of the tour (because he was sitting on a post to relieve the pain). We never saw Shannon text or call anyone but shortly a car drove up and handed him two portable stools. The other one was for an elderly woman that had a cane. We have traveled all around the world and it very rare to see this type of personal service from a tour company. Thanks Shannon for making it pleasant for both of us.

Some experiences just go way beyond what your expectations were. The history, culture and storytelling shared by Shannon was like being in the book not just reading the book. His knowledge of the personalities in Bonaventure Cemetery made this adventure so very special. The best 2 hour tour we have ever been on. Hope you had an awesome Birthday Shannon. My wife had an amazing Birthday celebration and her day started with you sharing so many amazing tales. Everyone should someday visit with Shannon at Bonaventure.

We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour at Bonaventure Cemetery. Our guide Lisa Marie was passionate about the cemetery and it's history, very knowledgeable, and a master storyteller. This was time well spent in Savannah.
