Senechie (tour guide) made the tour, hands down. I'm not a seafood person so I knew going in my husband would likely reap the benefits of the food; yet we would both enjoy the history. Senechie was knowledgeable and had great pictures to show and reference. The VIP gift was Blueberry jam which was nice. For those of you wanting to know about the food: lobster roll (2" maybe), Blueberry muffin bread, Blueberry soda, New England clam chowder (typical cup size), Maine Italian sandwich (excellent and very filling), and last stop was ice cream. Very great foodie tour!

I really enjoyed Senoki and his history research and local information. However we have been on food tours in Savannah, Nashville, Chicago twice, in San Francisco, this food tour was on the higher end pricewise and lower end expectation wise. There was only four stops when there should have been at least six-especially for that higher price. The stops were adequate but nothing spectacular

Dear Jim, Thank you for taking the time to review the tour. Senachie is a wealth of knowledge and we are fortunate to have him as a guide. We are happy to hear you appreciated his extra effort to provide a great tour. With regard to the price, one really cannot compare pre-covid pricing to the pricing now. As we are all aware, the pandemic has driven food costs significantly higher and restaurants struggle to stay open with staff shortages. We truly value all of our restaurant partners and pay them retail and tip their serving staff at 20%. We have worked hard during this pandemic to provide what we believe to be a wonderful experience for our guests while supporting our local businesses.

My daughter and I took this tour together. Senechie was a wonderful host! We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. We enjoyed all 5 places that we visited. Fiore’s was amazing. The olive oils and balsamic vinegar tastings were fabulous and I learned so many interesting facts about how each is made. The blueberry bread from The Independent Cafe was delicious! We had to go back for breakfast the next day and have more!! We both agreed that The Maine Italian Sandwich was the best sandwich we had ever tasted. Truly an enjoyable experience! Also enjoyed going thru the Episcopalian church and seeing the magnificent Tiffany stained windows! Would highly recommend this tour!!
