Our 1 hour Cowboy Trail ride, and the 1.5 hour Cowboy Trail ride hour are the rootinest, tootinest horseback rides in Sedona. You'll be riding through the hills and valleys of Dead Horse Ranch State Park in Cottonwood, just a hop, skip, and a jump away from Sedona. Our experienced wranglers will keep you safe while sharing the history of the land and surrounding area. You'll get to cross the river, take in the spectacular sightings of Tuzigoot Monument, and enjoy panoramic views of the Verde Valley. Fun time. Went with another family, cowboys were helpful. I would do it again next time we visit. Prepare to be sore, though.

Our guide Matt, I think that was his name. It was his 4th day at this place, but had been riding for years in Hawaii. He was patient and was very nice, I loved our horses, my husband’s and mine were an off white color, Bella , and I can’t remember my horses name. This experience was so good. Some of the group went really slow and it held us back alittle. But overall, I highly recommend this.

This was my first experience riding. In 52 years I would have never thought that I would enjoy riding. Staff is pleasant, funny and friendly. Explained everything thoroughly. Ready for my next visit.
