Our most popular Eco-Tour. Ride through open meadows, live oak-forest, explore the salt marsh and hear the history of the 70 acre, former cotton plantation. When done, enjoy the Coastal Discovery Museum. Eco Tours are stop and go, narrated tours mixing fun with a little new knowledge. Great for younger children, families and those who want a slower-paced activity. We have done segway tours in many cities. This was the worst one ever. We constantly had to stop riding so the guide could tell us information that wasn't really very exciting. Other tours we have done gave you headsets so you enjoy the ride and hear all the interesting information while you are riding. At the end of the stopping & riding tour, we were given a few minutes to ride around in a grassy area. That was so ridiculous! The whole tour basically went around a small section of land. What a waste of time and money. Go do something better with your money!

While we are disappointed to hear you did not enjoy your recent tour, the Eco Discovery Tour is described as a very slow paced educational and historical tour around Historic Honey Horn with lots of stops. As one of our most popular tours, our guides provide a very personalized tour for all our guests while sharing all kinds of history about the area on each of the stops made on the route. As we wind up the tour, our guests are given the opportunity to have some "free time" in one of the many fields and has always been a great hit with our guests. We do offer other tours that have very few stops and little or no narration. We would like to have you come ride with us on on one of the other tours we offer, so please give us a call to make arrangements.

It was a great family tour. Bob was great giving my kids facts that were geared towards them, but kept it interesting for us too. Lots of fun, kids enjoyed riding the segways.

It’s very difficult to find a vacation activity that will please everyone - ages 8, 11, 12, 14, 17 and 43! This was hands down everyone’s favorite adventure from our week in Hilton Head. Our guide Lisa was amazing - patient, kind, fun and even made education about the plantation interesting for all ages, as well. Highly recommend!

And you are so right, on a Segway, age disappears and everyone is on the same playing field of riding and having fun!
