Visit Red Rocks Park and amphitheater, then travel up into the mountains via Bear Creek Canyon to the quaint mountain town of Evergreen. Browse the local shops or enjoy a quick drink in the Saloon, winery, or local coffee shop. Witness beautiful Rocky Mountain vistas while climbing over a beautiful mountain pass to Echo Lake at 10,600 ft. Stroll around this beautiful glacial lake sitting at the base of 14,256 foot Mt. Blue Sky and enjoy the mountain scenery. Travel by historic Genesee Mountain Park while viewing herds of Buffalo and Elk on your way back into Denver. *Wildlife viewing not guaranteed.

We recommend a jacket year round as the mountains are always colder than Denver. In the winter hat and gloves are recommended as well.

Access into the amphitheatre is dependent on sound check closures by performers the day of. We recommend taking our morning tour for best chances of accessing the inside of the amphitheatre itself during concert seasons.

It was very nice and Philip was great and very knowledgeable about everything. The one thing I would say is that this is not a hiking/exploration tour, just driving to the 3 locations and around the Rockies for photo opportunities more than anything. Of the 5 hours, 3.5+ hours was spent in the van. It was a great tour, however, that was not clear (to me) in the description and that is my reason for writing this- not as a criticism of the tour itself by any means, it was great, and may be what many people want from a tour, but I was hoping for more outdoor time exploring/hiking than was described. After spending days in a convention center sitting all day- I was hoping to do more exploring, Walking. Philip was a great tour guide and provided us with ongoing facts about Colorado throughout the driving around. Also was very accommodating for bathroom stops, provided snack and water etc. If this is the kind of tour you are looking for, with minimal/no hiking/walking, then this is your tour. They did a great job.

We're also happy to hear you found it to be a great tour overall. You are correct though - this is not a hiking tour. While we do offer hiking tours for people who want to get out and have more exercise, this particular tour we consider "active" sightseeing. 30 minute walks to explore each sight as each guest feels comfortable with doing and numerous photo opportunities. We hope you come back and see us again and let us take you out for one of our hiking tours! Thank you again for the wonderful review and recommendation.

We had an absolutely fantastic time on our half-day tour with Colorado Sightseer! Our group of high school students visiting from Australia was lucky to have Laurel and Hans as our guides—they were knowledgeable, fun, and went above and beyond to make the experience memorable. From exploring Red Rocks Amphitheatre to the stunning stops at Evergreen and Echo Lake, everything was perfectly organised. They even came prepared with snowshoeing gear and snacks, which was such a thoughtful touch. Their enthusiasm and expertise made the tour a highlight of our trip. Highly recommend!

The half-day mountain tour of the Colorado Rockies was such a treat! Even though it was half day, it packed in so much. The views were absolutely stunning—mountains stretching as far as the eye can see. Our guide Alex was super friendly and full of interesting stories about the area's history and the people who lived here long ago. We stopped at some great spots to take photos, and each one seemed better than the last. The van was comfy, and the group wasn’t too big, so it felt personal. Totally worth it!
