Our coach driver "T-Bone" was an interesting and informative young man, with a delightful sense of humor and a quick eye in spotting wildlife. We witnessed a mother black bear (brown in color) with 2 cubs, one black one brown, grazing on the grass on the side of the Yukon Highway. T-Bone stopped the coach as soon as he was aware of their presence, and we witnessed the mother cross the road in front of the coach, walk back a pace or two to encourage her young to follow her then the three continued. What a video to show our friends in Australia.
We saw another 2 bears along the way. An explanation of the change in vegetation was pointed out, along with other amazing features of the areas we drove through. Well done TripAdvisor for giving me the heads up on this tour.
