Our Manatee Snorkel Tour with the Adventure Center crew was simply the best. We had never snorkeled before but have always wanted to see manatees in their natural habitat. We did the Semi-Private Tour and it was totally worth it to have smaller group. Captain Laura was our Dive Master and Captain Christain was our Navigator and both were incredibly gracious and personable, and went above and beyond to provide us with an amazing experience. Their first priority is manatee conservation, which is why we chose this tour group. Captain Laura was right there in the water with us, directing us on proper procedure and making sure we were all passive observers. We snorkeled in 3 different locations and observed multiple manatees eating, snoozing and floating in and around our group. About 4 hours, start to finish. Just awesome! Plus, the dry towels, hot coffee and hot cocoa available for us on the boat between stops was greatly appreciated. Wetsuits and snorkel gear were all clean and in good shape. You can bring a small bag on the boat so throw in a warm hat and fleece coat if you are booking during the winter as it can get a little windy on the water.

Went on 630am semi-private trip with Capt. Eric and divemaster Henry. We had 3 of us(myself, wife and 10 yr old son), and another couple. Had a great time. Crew were knowledgeable about the manatees and also about the area, and had great attitudes and were very customer-friendly. Capt Eric gave a good and thorough safety briefing and Henry also gave us a clear and informative (and funny at times) pre-swim briefing. Went up into the 3 Sister's Spring for about an hour and had a great time.- many manatees....Then continued on to another spring (King's Bay?) for another stop, which was also great (maybe even better). I also appreciated that my 10 year old son had a wonderful time, not just with the manatees, but also on the boat talking with the crew. This was one crew, on one boat, on one day, so I can't say that everyone will have the exact same experience that we did, but I can tell you that based on our experience, I would highly recommend this company for your manatee tour. The crew, and the manatees, did a great job.

Our Divemasters / Captains were OUTSTANDING! Dustin & Christian went above and beyond to ensure that we had the ultimate experience swimming with the manatees. I was recently confined to a wheelchair and a bit anxious about getting in/out boat. Christian & Dustin made me feel completely comfortable and confident in their ability to 'handle' me. It was truly one of my best days ever! We'll always go to Plantation Adventure Center as they are the BEST on Crystal River!
