Christian and Cory rocked it! Cory made sure that we all had a great experience visiting with the manatees. Christian drove us to the hot spots and made sure that anyone who came in cold had a jacket and something warm in their hands. Great experience! Thank you

This trip that takes max of 6 people per tour is the best of the best. We had Misty as out in-water guide and Christian as our captain. Both are tremendously knowledgeable of the water, Manatees, and the ecology of Crystal River. I found it especially appreciated the respect to the wild life and nature they have. Misty was especially helpful in guiding us from the very start of the tour in the dive shop through to the very end. We were lucky enough to snorkel at three different spots with little to no crowd surrounding us. This gave us a great opportunity to RESPECTFULLY interact with the manatees (only after they approached us first). Capt. Misty helped us understand exactly what to do and what not to do while in the water. It made our tour safe and at every spot she took us, her teaching paid off as manatee after manatee and some of the calf crowded us for interaction (coming right up to our face, rolling over for belly stroking, one even held onto Misty's legs with its flippers) that they initiated. This is how exactly how interactions with manatees supposed to be - passive observation with interaction only when they initiate. There were parts of the tour where I felt the manatees were coming on a tour to see our small group. She is also an expert in-water photographer/videographer. We bought the videos and pictures which turned out epic. This way I didn't have to bother with fiddling with my own camera, I could just focus on the interaction. Capt. Christian was very helpful keeping us warm and dry on the boat while at time guiding us from above surface navigate over to the pod of manatees who are sometimes hard to see with a light chop. He expertly maneuvered the pontoon through otherwise shallow or filled with other boat traffic. He is very friendly and knowledgeable of the water himself. Plantation Adventure center offers similar tour with lager group, which I'm sure are great and have equally experienced staff. However for that little extra special touch a small group tour offers more attention from the staff and more interaction time and better quality.

Excellent Captain and Guide. Friendly, informative. We took the 6 person private tour. If you are not staying at the hotel be sure to bring a change of clothes. Although towels were provided they were pretty small. Manatee’s are awesome!
